President's update: ULGMC AGM and Easter meet cancelled

Dear members,

Unfortunately, I have to send you another update even sooner than I feared.

The government now strongly advises against social gatherings and non-essential travelling. To not risk the health of our members and do our bit to limit the spread of COVID-19, we are postponing the AGM at Plas y Brenin and cancelling the Easter meet at Caseg Fraith.

As I mentioned in the previous update, I will provide you with a complete written update in the middle of April and should be able to provide online voting for all the decisions we would have voted on. I will also explore the feasibility of a Skype-like online Q&A. I know that this is not covered by our constitution, but I hope you agree that is in its spirit by allowing some democratic oversight while we don't yet know how long we have to postpone the AGM for.

Please, stay safe and look after each other.

Best wishes,
Stephan (ULGMC President)

NB: Plas y Brenin has postponed our booking which I hope means that anyone having booked a room with them directly will get message from them soon too.
