Caseg Fraith (near Capel Curig, Snowdonia)
Caseg Fraith is near the top of the pass between the Llugwy and the Ogwen Valleys in Snowdonia, beneath Tryfan (see our Tryfan webcam), 3.5 miles north-west of Capel Curig on the A5. It is a large hut with electric cooking, electric lighting, foam mattresses, running water, flush toilets and two showers. Ideally situated for walking on the Glyderau, Carneddau and Moel Siabod and for climbing on Tryfan, in Cwm Idwal and on the Carneddau and (with transport) Llanberis, Cloggy and Tremadog are all within reach. Fallcliffe Cottage (near Hathersage, Peak District)
Fallcliffe Cottage is 1.5 miles South of Hathersage on the west side of the B6001 Grindleford to Hathersage road. It is smaller than Caseg but with similar facilities. Froggat, Stanage, Curbar, Lawrencefield, Millstone, Stoney Middleton and many others are all within easy reach. The hut has space for 16 in Alpine style bunks.
